About Us
Who we are
Dance is a language we use to release our unspoken emotions. It allows you to check in with a part of you that is hidden deep inside. Better Together Dance is a place for all types of dancers ready to tap into that part of yourself.
Better Together Dance was founded by Desiree Acosta in 2023. She is a certified member of Dance Masters of America Chapter 17, Alixa Flexibility, and continues training through Karida Griffith's Tap Teacher Lounge and Rhee Gold's DanceLife programs. Desiree danced and competed all through school and had always found dance as her safe space.
At Better Together Dance, we strive to provide a safe environment for your dancer to soar. With professionally trained adult teachers, they will learn the styles of Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Liturgical, Contemporary, and Hip Hop. Your dancer will also learn teamwork, gain confidence, become a part of a greater dance family, and bloom in so many more ways.

Better Together Dance
Classes for all ages
From the age of 2 to adult, BTD has several options for the dancers in your home. From recreational tracks to competitive dance, there is a class for you!
Performance and Competitive Teams
For the dancer looking for a more rigorous schedule and well rounded dance experience. Our competition team attends workshops in the area and will compete at 2 different competitions during the season. They will also get extra performance opportunities in the community.
If your dancer is looking for more performance opportunities but want to stay close to home, our performance team is for you!
Recital
After a season of classes, your dancer will get the chance to perform locally on stage. Themed each year with a new storyline, each class gets to share their skills in a fun exciting way.
Weekend Events
Looking for a place to hold your little dancer's birthday party, a fun holiday activity, or a movie night? The studio space is available for your special celebration. Proceeds from these events will go towards fundraising for the competition team and other studio events such as weekend workshops and master classes with outside professionals. We will also have a variety of seasonal activities throughout the year.
